Accreditation
The Nordic Metrology Science laboratories perform accredited calibration, testing and control activities according to LST EN ISO/IEC 17025 and LST EN ISO/IEC 17020 standards.
The status of an accredited body means that the Lithuanian National Accreditation Bureau regularly, independently and objectively assesses the competence and operational procedures of Nordic Metrology Science, and that the body meets the requirements applicable to its activities and is competent to perform the conformity assessment procedures for which it is accredited.
Nordic Metrology Science’s calibration and testing activities are accredited for compliance with LST EN ISO/IEC 17025, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, and its control activities are accredited for compliance with LST EN ISO/IEC 17020, Conformity assessment – Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection.
The application of national or international standards in our activities allows public authorities, businesses and the public to have confidence in the results of the calibration, testing and control activities of Nordic Metrology Science.
