Accredited activities - Nordic Metrology Science

The Nordic Metrology Science laboratories perform accredited inspection and calibration activities according to LAS EN ISO/IEC 17020 and LST EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

The status of an accredited body means that the Lithuanian National Accreditation Bureau regularly, independently and objectively assesses the competence and operational procedures of Nordic Metrology Science, and that the body meets the requirements applicable to its activities and is competent to perform the conformity assessment procedures for which it is accredited.

Nordic Metrology Science’s calibration activities are accredited for compliance with LST EN ISO/IEC 17025, General requirements for the competence of calibration laboratories, and its inspection activities are accredited for compliance with LST EN ISO/IEC 17020, Conformity assessment – Requirements for the operation of various types of inspection bodies.

The application of national or international standards in our activities allows public authorities, businesses and the public to have confidence in the results of the calibration, testing and control activities of Nordic Metrology Science.
