Initial verification of non-automatic and automatic weighing instruments
In accordance with Directive 2014/31/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014, the technical regulation for non-automatic weighing instruments, Nordic Metrology Science performs initial verification (conformity assessment) of non-automatic weighing instruments.
Furthermore, in accordance with Directive 2014/32/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014, the technical regulation for measuring instruments, we also perform initial verification (conformity assessment) of automatic catchweighers, automatic gravimetric filling instruments, and discontinuous and continuous totalisers (weighers).
Conformity assessment activities for non-automatic and automatic weighing instruments are accredited for compliance with EN ISO/IEC 17020.
The European Commission, EU Member States and EFTA countries (EEA members) have been notified about the appointment of Nordic Metrology Science to perform conformity assessment activities for non-automatic and automatic weighing instruments. These activities have the status of notified activities, and the results are recognized in the European Economic Area.
